This year the alternative bass stage will be operated by Prague’s multi genred Roots’n’Future collective. Storming the dancefloors at home or abroad for more than twenty-five years already. they became the first Czech reggae, dub and jungle sound system and have had an indelible influence on originating Prague’s dubstep, global beats and oldschool hardcore scenes. For more than a decade. they ran the 37th chamber of Shaolin on the Smíchov’s embankment, they founded their own United Forces of Dub vinyl label, Messiah Komplex avant-garde musical series or Junglist Call club dance parties. Among others, the parts of the team are also Mustakillah Sound studio productions or Ruff Squad oldschool DJ team, who celebrated big comeback in the last year’s joint session with Altern 8 in Fuchs2 club.

R’n’F don’t forget where they come from – they are socially and politically engaged crew, they originated Dub the Capital soundsystem series at the now defunct Milada squat and they took part in an attempt to squat a building at Albertov. They co-founded Prague’s DiY carneval, they participated in Brno’s ProtestFest and together with Vosa soundsystem in creating free parties BulgarTek or U-Tek at Ukraine’s Crimea.
