Cécile Roque is DJane MUTE.
In the early 2000s, she participated in the creation of the label “Sens Inverse Records” in Strasbourg. The label released several EPs and left its mark on the city’s bass music scene. She also co-created a female electronic music collective and is now a founding member of a cooperative shop which involves over thirty local artists, and has its own vinyl corner.
She is curious and continues to explore alternative places, raves and squats, while also playing in clubs. Multiple experiences and singular influences have contributed to her own unique artistic and musical personality.
Amazon, mixing only vinyl, she feeds on electro, breakbeat, ardent and melodic techno oblique punk waves and breaths.
Make Some Noise! MUTE on mix, is a haunting and impactful trip. She dances and trances behind her decks. She’s played at the Cross Club in Prague, at Tacheles in Berlin and at her numerous free parties, “Sa Meute“.
Committed to a fully liberated scene, she also organizes street events which bring together different universes, music, dance, performance, drag shows and voguing…
