DJ Mad4ce is a multi-genre DJ and promoter who dedicates himself to dance music since 1999. His musical beginnings are strongly related to freeparty culture, Aphrikka soundsystem, later on Roots ‘n‘ Future. He started spinning in no-longer existing Prague’s Zion reggae club, originally reggae and dub.
From the very beginnings he focuses mostly on drum’n’bass/jungle music, with reggae, dancehall and dub influences. Since 2007, with support from Prague’s Cross club, he organizes JUNGLIST CALL party, later on his interests broaden to bass music, dubstep, grime, house, UK garage, UK funky and further subgenres defined by 120-150 bpm tempo, under DJ nickname Mad4Bass. Up until today, he’s active on the Czech jungle scene, ambient live project PSR 1257+B12 and in the legendary Metro freeparty soundsystem.
