Jason Pussypower along with his brother Terry have been purrveyors of quality dance music on the underground scene for over 25 years. All sorts of music has Influenced Jason, from Zappa to The Minutemen, Black Flag to Public Enemy or The Residents to the alternative UK, US or European punk rock scenes they all play a part in his musical upbringing.
When organising events in and around Glasgow Scotland, they’ve brought some of the best live acts and Dj’s to entertain a discerning crowd. Their all night parties throughout Scotland, club nights in the Arches Theatre Glasgow (before it was a nightclub) and Industria Glasgow are legendary, the latter even got a mention in Irvine Welsh’s book ‚Ecstasy‘.
Mid 90s, after meeting members of Technical support, the brothers were invited to play in Czech Rep at various events in Prague. After these positive experiences, Jason took the opportunity to broaden his horizons and check out a new vibe when he moved out of Scotland to base himself in the Czech Rep, playing with the Technical Support crew at seminal events in and around Prague, all over Czech Rep, Easten and Central Europe. Jason has a long running relationship with the Mayapur Sound System playing events, most recently Breakfest 2018, he has also guested for the Spiritual Sound System and played with Spiral Tribe and for various other CZ sound systems. Jason has an uncompromising Dj style, consistently playing quality spaced out vibes. He’s comfortable with a variety of genres, known for bangin out the acid tinged sound, throwing in tracks from the Dead Kennedys or even some Al Green inspired, twisted, wonky techno….
